Team building that people do not dread
Two packages, both built around the same idea: put a team in a locked room, watch how it actually behaves under a clock, then talk about it honestly over coffee. No trust falls, no icebreaker bingo, no slides.
Why an escape room works for this
A sixty-minute room compresses a project into an hour. Someone takes charge without being asked. Someone finds the key piece and does not tell anyone for four minutes. Two people solve the same lock separately. A quiet person spots the pattern everyone else walked past. None of that is engineered; it just happens when the door closes, and the value of the day is in noticing it afterwards.
Because the whole booking is private, the debrief can be frank. Our facilitators are game masters with a few hundred games behind them, and they watched your team on the monitors. They will tell you, kindly, who talked over whom.
The packages
Half day or full day
Half-day package
from $690+ HST, up to 12 people
- Two rooms of your choice, played simultaneously in two groups of up to six
- Game master briefing, three hints per room, time cards and team photo
- 45 minutes in the private debrief room with coffee, tea, sparkling water and pastries
- Facilitated debrief: what each team did well, where it stalled, what that suggests
- Runs about three hours; available any day from 10 a.m. (weekends) or noon (weekdays)
- Extra people $52 + HST each, to a maximum of 16 across two rooms
Full-day package
from $1,290+ HST, up to 24 people
- All four rooms, rotated so every group plays at least two, most play three
- Lounge reserved 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. with a screen, whiteboard and Wi-Fi for your own sessions
- A short facilitated debrief after each round and a longer one to close the day
- Catering optional: lunch platters from a Queen West kitchen, from $24 + HST per person, with vegetarian, vegan, halal and gluten-free options
- Weekdays only, Monday to Friday; the rooms stay closed to the public until 5 p.m.
- Extra people $48 + HST each, to a maximum of 32 with a second afternoon rotation
A sample half day

| 2:50 p.m. | Debrief room. Pastries. Each team retells its hour; the facilitator adds what the cameras saw. |
| 3:40 p.m. | Done. King Street patios are four minutes away if the afternoon deserves it. |
The full day follows the same rhythm three times, with lunch in the lounge between the second and third rounds and a closing session at 4 p.m. We can shift start times by an hour either way and can cap the day at 3 p.m. for teams commuting on the GO train.
The practical bits
- One invoice, HST itemized, payable by e-Transfer, card or EFT; a 30% deposit holds the date.
- Cancel or move the date free up to 14 days out; within 14 days the deposit is kept.
- Accessibility: three of four rooms are fully step-free; the fourth has a ramp. Tell us about anyone who would rather skip strobes or crawl spaces and we will plan rooms accordingly.
- Dietary needs and allergies for catering are collected a week ahead.
- Alcohol is not served or permitted on site; there are eleven bars within a five-minute walk for afterwards.
- December fills fast. Half of our full-day dates between November 20 and December 18 are typically booked by Thanksgiving.
